The Thursday Club Wedding Venue in Point Loma

I had the pleasure of capturing Kalea and Kyle's intimate garden elopement at The Thursday Club Women's Club on an overcast summer day. After their small ceremony, we headed down the street to Sunset Cliffs for a few relaxed portraits by the ocean before returning to the venue for their reception.

The building on Santa Barbara Street has so much history and charm. Guests mingled over drinks and appetizers before the celebration moved into the dining hall. The colorful stained glass windows were one of my favorite details. When the sun finally came through before setting, it filled the room with beautiful color during the first dances and dinner.

As the sun began to set, I brought the newlyweds back out to the garden for a few quiet minutes together. They danced, embraced, shared sweet moments, and stole a few kisses. The Thursday Club is a venue I will continue to recommend to my couples, and I am always excited for another chance to photograph there.
