La Jolla Shores Ceremony

Lucy and Callum reached out to me early in 2026 to ask if I could document their wedding at La Jolla Shores. They were visiting from out of town, and their loved ones traveled in to celebrate with them. Of course, I said yes.

I met Callum early that morning at Sunset Cliffs for their first look, private vows, and a few portraits before the ceremony. Sunset Cliffs is one of San Diego's most loved places for views along the Point Loma coastline. Even in the morning, the cliffs were stunning. The overcast sky gave us the soft, moody look they wanted as we moved through the area together.

Afterward, we headed to La Jolla, where their loved ones had gathered to celebrate their marriage. Their ceremony was short and sweet, followed by family portraits on the beach. The day finished in North County with dinner and dancing.

La Jolla Shores is a place I recommend to anyone visiting San Diego. Whether you are planning a wedding or want simple photos by the water, it offers the kind of Southern California beach setting that is hard to beat.
