Bel Vino Winery sits in Temecula wine country, and I was so happy when Jordan and Collin asked me to photograph their wedding there. I had photographed their proposal along the Encinitas coast in the summer of 2022, so getting to document their wedding a few years later felt especially meaningful.
Bel Vino is a beautiful place to spend a wedding day. The ceremony, getting-ready spaces, bride and groom suites, and cocktail hour area are all only a short walk from one another. At the center of the property is a charming house with separate suites for each wedding party. The reception and ceremony spaces sit on either side, with the winery, guest parking, vineyard views, and rolling hills beyond.
Jordan and Collin chose a Wednesday wedding, which can be a great way to save money when weekend venue dates are more expensive. It was early spring, and rain was in the forecast. The Wedgewood staff accommodated the weather so smoothly that the day still felt easy and celebratory. Rain on a wedding day is good luck, and it brought a little extra character to their story.
They shared a first look and private vows along a long driveway beside the venue. Because they had already seen each other, we were able to complete wedding party, family, and romantic portraits before the ceremony. That left them free to enjoy their reception with the people who had traveled to celebrate them.
After the ceremony, the reception unfolded beneath the canopy. Their grand entrance, first dances, dinner, bouquet toss, dessert, dancing, and plenty of wine all took place there until the night wrapped up at 10 p.m. Jordan and Collin looked thrilled through every moment.

Whether your day is at a favorite local venue or somewhere new, I would love to document it with care.
