Bel Vino Winery
Bel Vino Winery - Temecula, CA
Bel Vino Winery is a winery located in Temecula, California in the well known wine country. I had the pleasure of not only capturing Jordan & Collin’s proposal in the summer of 2022 along the coast in Encinitas, CA and they asked me to shoot their wedding in the late winter/early spring of 2024 in Temecula. Of course, I said yes.
Jordan and Collin chose Bel Vino to get married and what a stunning location it is! The ceremony, getting ready, bride and groom suites, cocktail hour area are all held within a space you can walk across within a few minutes. In the center of the main wedding space is an adorable house that has two separate suites for each wedding party to hangout and get ready. On each side of the house is a reception space and a ceremony space. And beyond those spots is another building for the winery, parking for guests, and the rolling hills with the grape vines and views of wine country.
Jordan and Collin got married on a Wednesday which incidentally is a great option to save some $$$ as weekends are usually more expensive at venues. The first few months of 2024 Southern California got hit with a lot of rain, so of course, it was forecasted to rain on the day of the wedding. But rest assured, the wonderful staff accommodated the rainy weather and everything went as smoothly as it would have if it didn’t rain. Bel Vino is ran by Wedgewood Weddings and unless if you live under a rock in the wedding community you have heard of the fantastic company that is Wedgewood. Not only have I worked several Wedgewood weddings, I have attended them as a guest and been in wedding parties that were ran by Wedgewood. They are fantastic. By the way - it is also good luck if it rains on your wedding day. It rained the day my husband and I eloped and I honestly was too elated to even notice the weather while it was happening.
Collin and Jordan chose to do a first look and exchange private vows before the ceremony. We did both of those on a long driveway next to the venue.
After which, since the bride and groom had seen each other already, we did the wedding party and family photos and also romantic photos.
Jordan & Collin really prioritized enjoying their reception and I am always for that. Wedding days, no matter how early you start, happen in a blink of an eye. I knew this when I got married and I am happy to have the wedding photos from a photographer I love and admire. I am grateful to have those photos so I can look back and relive the day.
After the ceremony, the reception unfolded under the canopy the venue had set up and the grand entrance, first dances, dinner, cat (bouquet) toss, dessert, more dancing, wine, wine, wine, all took place under the canopy all night (until 10pm) and Jordan and Collin could not look more thrilled during every moment. And of course, we danced in the rain in the headlights of the send off car.
